Lyme disease is the bacterial infection that is transmitted by ticks.  The most common sign of infection is an expanding area of redness that begins at the site of a tick bite about a week after it has occurred.The rash is typically neither itchy nor painful.

What are the symptoms of Lyme disease?


The early symptoms may include fever, headache and feeling tired. If untreated, symptoms may include loss of the ability to move one or both sides of the face, joint pains, severe headaches with neck stiffness, or heart palpitations, among others. About 10 to 20% of people develop joint pains, memory problems, and feel tired for at least six months. The occurrence of red and painless rashes within 3-32 days after biting by ticks in the contacted area. 

When lyme disease not cured or treated for a long time, the disease can involve cognitive impairment, brain fog, migraines, balance issues, weakness in the legs, awkward gait, facial paralysis, bladder problems, and back pain. In rare cases, untreated Lyme disease may cause frank psychosis(a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality). Panic attacks and anxiety can occur; also, the delusional behaviour may be seen, sometimes accompanied derealisation syndrome, where the patients begin to feel detached from themselves or reality.


How Lyme disease transmitted in human?

Lyme Disease is transmitted to human by the bite of infected ticks. The disease does not appear to be transmissible between people, by other animals, or through food.

What’s the best way to prevent a tick bite?

To prevent the tick bites such as by wearing long pants tucked into socks, full sleeved t-shirts, light-coloured clothes so that ticks can easily be visible before they attached themselves.
People who work in areas with woods, bushes, leaf litter, and tall grass are at risk of becoming infected with Lyme at work. So dresses should be worn carefully, and the clothes of those employers should be washed in hot water which kills the ticks if present in clothes

Zorba' dance helps GREEK heart patients

Greek scientists have found getting heart failure patients up dancing traditional 'Zorba' dances improves their strength and endurance. Zorba is a Greek name meaning 'Live Each Day'.

Traditional Greek dancing has been recommended as a life-enhancing treatment for older people with heart patients. traditional Greek dancing can have major health benefits. Taking it up allowed elderly patients who had suffered chronic heart failure to jump higher than their sedentary counterparts, a study found. The moves strengthened the legs of the participants, who had an average age of 73, allowing them to walk faster and further as well.

According to the Researcher Zacharias Vordos, from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, said: "Greek dancing is an important part of weddings and other celebrations, and is popular among older people.
"We believed dancing would increase the attractiveness of rehabilitation programmes for patients with chronic heart failure. This was the first study to assess the impact of traditional Greek dancing on jumping ability.
"Patients who participated in Greek dancing jumped higher at the end of the training programme, probably because they had stronger leg muscles."

The study include the averaged aged of 73 years old, in total of 40 Greek patients with chronic heart failure who were randomly assigned for the three months Greek dancing rehabilitation programme or continue their usual sedentary lifestyle. Exercise training took place at three municipal gyms, and consisted of three 40 to 65 minute weekly classes. 

At the beginning of the study, the researchers tested the participants' jumping ability, measuring both height and the speed. Measurements were also taken of leg muscle strength and endurance was assessed with a six-minute walking test.
After three months, the patients who learned Greek dancing were able to jump 10 per cent higher and six per cent faster than the sedentary patients.
They also had stronger legs and could walk further.
Greek dancing may also benefit the heart, Vordos added.
Heart failure occurs when the heart is too weak to pump blood efficiently around the body.

Husband & Wife were watching TV when Wife said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."

She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches.

Rinsed out the bowls, took vegetable out of the freezer for morning, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and
Bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

She then ironed a shirt and secured a loose button.

She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer.

She emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry.

She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom.

She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair.

She signed a birthday card for a friend, Addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store.

She put both near her bag. Then she washed her face, put on her moisturizer, brushed her teeth.....

The husband called out,
"I thought you were going to bed."
"I'm on my way," she said.
She put some water into the dog's dish, then made sure the doors were locked.

She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and radios, and had a brief conversation with one kid who is still up doing homework.

In her own room, she set the alarm; laid out clothing for the next day.

Said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals. about that time,

The husband turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular.
"I'm going to bed."
And he did... Without another thought.

The Brain Tumor Risk will Increased By 290% After 10 Years of Cellphone Use

How long have you been using your cell phone?

A month, years or 10 year - using a mobile device for any length of time is damaging to some degree, but new research is shedding light on just how significant of an influence extended cell phone use has on the brain. Swedish doctors recently completed a rather astonishing study that may get you thinking twice about your cell phone habits. The study showed that that 10 years of cell phone use resulted in an average 290% increased risk of brain tumor develop on the side where the phone was held more frequently. 

With the increased number of cell phones on the citizens of the world comes something known as ‘second-hand cell phone use’. Just as with smoking, sitting in a bus, airplane, or train will expose you to upwards of several hundred cellphones at one time.

In addition to the increased risk of brain tumors, this new study found that cell phone usage actually changes the development a child’s brain, and they estimate that the increase in behavioral issues and brain tumors will have a dramatic spike in the coming years.


The large-scale global use of cell phones is essentially a massive biological experiment. The best way of protecting yourself from cell phone radiation is to simply not use it. When turning the phone off, it reduces the emission rate close to zero. This is not always an option for many.

Here are a few vital methods of reducing the damage:

  1. Try and use the ‘speaker’ option on your cell phone when possible, holding it in your hand away from your head.
  2. Turn your phone off at night or when you are not using it.
  3. Place your phone in ‘airplane’ mode if you cannot turn it off entirely.

On a grander scale, it is essential to let your friends and family know the dangers of cell phone use. It is by generating awareness and getting those you know upset that real change will occur within the industry.

Swimming is a great form of cardio because it works your entire body. Plus, the resistance from the water helps to tone your body at the same time. Swimming is also GREAT way to get into shape because its much easier on the joints so you won't feel the aches and pains like you would while running.

yes, Foods: Chicken, Fish, Beef, All Seafood Fats are okay, Great Fats are avocado, nuts and salmon (in limited portions), Dairy is fine - low fat or non fat Green Veggies, Unlimited Fruit only before 5:00 PM - Apples, grapefruits and berries, Soy - (for vegetarians).

Here is a sample one-week diet that was used by the contestant Ryan:

Day 1
Breakfast: cereal, yogurt, one cup berries
Lunch: BBQ chicken breast, BBQ baked beans, big salad with sliced chicken
Dinner: 3 Gatorades

Day 2
Breakfast: cereal, milk, berries
Lunch: large chicken breast with roma tomatoes
Dinner: 6 oz steak, huge salad with dressing.

Day 3
Breakfast: 3 egg whites, 2 oz steak, 1 oz. cheese
Lunch: yogurt, 2 portions Laughing Cow cheese, large chicken breast, tomato, Jell-O, popsicle
Dinner: 4 eggs, 2 pieces turkey bacon, 1 oz cheese, 2 Jell-Os with cool whip

Day 4
Breakfast: 3 egg whites, yogurt, cereal
Lunch: huge salad with 30 shrimp, Jell-O with cool whip
Dinner: 2 turkey burgers, green beans, 2 Jell-Os with cool whip

Day 5
Breakfast: 4 egg whites, yogurt, toast with jam
Lunch: 6 pieces of ham, 2 pieces of bread, Jell-O with cool whip
Dinner: large chicken breast, tomato, BBQ sauce, 2 popsicles, 2 glasses Crystal Light

Day 6
Breakfast: 4 egg whites, 1 slice cheese, salsa
Lunch: 2 chicken breasts, green beans, tomatoes, black beans
Dinner: 2 turkey burgers with cheese

Day 7
Breakfast: 4 eggs, salsa, toast with jam
Lunch: 6 oz. turkey, dressing and salad
Dinner: 2 turkey burgers, zucchini, green beans, 2 Jell-Os with cool whip.

I have Followed the same Diet plan as what Ryan did.

I have done many different types of exercise. I have listed below, the few different exercise that I did while losing my weight. For you can do more than what i have listed. its up to you how many different types of exercise you want to do. 
  1. walking - Walking is the most important to lose the weight and its makes you healthier 
  2. Step Aerobics
  3. Yoga - is the powerful exercise tool to help you to lose the weight.

  7. Dancing - I don't like dancing but I did it and it's really fun.

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.


2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.


3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.


4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.
