Not, All the foods that kids are eating are healthy foods. Children should limit their intake of foods that contain high fats, added sugar and added salt. They can lead to tooth decay and weight gain and leave less room for the healthier foods in the body.


Children are hard to convince, in that case you can tell your kids that they can only have a small portion of the discretionary foods (lollies, chocolate etc.) as part of a balance diet. You should try to limit your kids on discretionary foods because the children can become overweight or developing diseases when they grow older.

According to the Better Health "Meal times with kids can be very stressful", especially after a day at work or a day caring for them. Lets me not talk about how hard is going to be at dinner time to get settled with kids in dinner table.

It is easy to prepare healthy foods for kids. Kids have very small stomach, they just need small meals and healthy snacks. Kids required 3 healthy meals and 2 snacks a day.

Apply Topical Ointments: At least once daily, but no more than three times a day, apply a nonprescription topical ointment to problematic areas. One of the best products is Clearasil because it contains both benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. Benzoyl peroxide works to unplug clogged pores, while salicylic acid helps clear up blemishes by causing the top layer of skin to peel. Products that contain tea tree oil (commonly found in gels, creams, and lotions) or alpha-hydroxy acid are also desirable. However, remember that if you use a product too often, your acne can get worse. So confine your applications to less than three times per day unless otherwise directed by a doctor.

Avoid the Following: Make sure to avoid the following acts which can trigger acne flare-ups: overexposure to the sun, the wearing of tight-fitting items that rub against the skin, excess stress, constant touching of the face, working with oils or harsh chemicals, excessive sweating, hair hanging in your face, or the use of hair care products that contain oils. Also avoid squeezing pimples. Squeezing pimples can result in an infection and/or long-term scaring.

While mild acne is annoying, it will eventually pass. Most people will outgrow acne by their early-twenties, so there is reason to be optimistic. *You can also drink ginger tea but as mumps make us difficult to swallow so method given above is better in my point of view.

2: Use of Baking soda: The alkaline property of baking soda do not allow mumps virus to grow. Make a paste of baking soda(only a pinch of baking soda) with required amount of water and apply it on swollen part. Let it dry for 2 minutes and wash it with lukewarm water. Practice this minimum thrice a day. This will stop mumps virus to affect more parts around neck and cheeks.

3: Use of Garlic: Likewise ginger, garlic is also effective because of it anti-inflammatory and anti-pain property. All you have to do is crush several cloves of garlic and leave it for some time on inflammation part. After this process you will get rid of pain caused due to mumps.

4: Use of pepper: Here is one weird way to treat mumps. Yes pepper is also very good home medicine to remove mumps. All you have to do is make thick paste of pepper with water and apply it over affected area like neck, cheeks and jawline. You will feel decrease in inflammation and this process will also treat your mumps in no time.

5: Using Carrot and pineapple juice: The required vitamins for treatment of mumps are also found in carrot and pineapple. Drink carrot and pineapple juice once or twice daily. It is also easiest and effective way to get rid of mumps.

A main property of indian lilac is antiviral merit and also help to cure against the swelling caused because of mumps. Take handful of indian lilac leaves and crush it into fine powder. Now make a paste including one table spoon of turmeric, indian lilac powder and required amount of water. Apply it over swollen part and let it dry. After 30 minutes wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeating this process twice a day will heal your mumps in no time.

9: Using Fenugreek and Asparagus seeds: The main property of asparagus and fenugreek seeds is they increase the immunity against the disease. Take 3-3 table spoon of asparagus and fenugreek seeds and make thick paste mixing with water. Apply it on affected area in such a way that it completely cover the swollen part. Let it dry and wash it off with wet cloth. This process works effectively when we repeat it twice a day for at least one week. Another way is just drink juice of fenugreek seeds and water.

10: Use of Chebulic Myrobalan:  Chebulic Myrobalan, also called as ink fruit, is known as a magical herb because of its anti-inflammatory and antibiotic property against disease like mumps. Take 2-3 chebulic fruit and let it dry in sun until it is suitable to grind into powder(6-7 hours). Make a thick paste of ink fruit with water with help of mixture. Put the paste around inflammation area i.e throat, jawline and cheeks so that all parts are wholly covered with paste. Let it dry and wash it off with wet soft cotton cloth. Continue this process for 2-3 times a day for a week. There will be sudden change around swollen area as well relief from pain.

11: Using Sacred Fig leaves:  Sacred fig leaves have property that kills the virus causing mumps and also have property of anti-inflammatory that reduces swelling because of mumps. Likewise banyan leaves, clean sacred fig leaves properly and put some butter on it. Make it hot in a pan and keep it over the affected area. To hold leaf, you can use tape or bandage. After half an hour take it out. Repeat the process two time daily for a week for productive result.

12: Use of Mullein:  Take a spoon of dried mullein leaves in a steeping ball. Steep it into a cup of hot water for 10-15 minutes. Mullein leaves has property of soothing and healing which will increase the rapidness of healing process. Drink minimum two cups of mullein tea a day. This will provide relief from pain. Otherwise dip a clean cotton cloth in mullein tea and put it over affected area. Repeat this process several times a day for better result.

Here are some methods which says to drink as an alternative method to treat mumps which may not be suitable for children. I used to have dark necks and suntan around my neck. Before i start writing this article, i will like to tell tell you that I already tried this three steps twice a week which make my neck seem so clean and white. so, i feel like to write this article so i can help you guys to get rid of sun tan and dark necks.

3 simple/ easy steps to get rid of suntan and dark neck :


  • Steaming 
  • Exfoliating
  • Lightening

Steaming:

For this process boil water and pour it in a bowl. Take a towel and make it wet with hot water and put it around your neck. Repeat this process 3 minutes. This process will help you remove dirt and dead skins.

Exfoliating:

Second step is like this- take 1tbs(tablespoon) salt, 1table Spoon baking soda or you can also use baking powder instead of baking soda, and 2ts olive oil or coconut oil instead of olive oil. Mix them properly until it is distributed properly to form exfoliating scrub.Then take a bath scrubber or cotton and scrub those black parts of neck lightly for 2-3 minutes. This removes sun tan, dirt and dead skins. Salt is a gentle natural exfoliate that sloughs off dead skin. It also has minerals to soften skin and restore hydration. Baking soda on its own is a remedy against acne. It regulates the pH level of the skin and helps in healing breakouts. Coconut oil has strong healing, moisturising and antibacterial qualities that beneficially affect the skin while nourishing it. Mixing these products together creates a safe combination, even on sensitive skin.

Lightening:

For this last method I use Sandalwood powder but we can also use Fuller’s earth(Multani mitti), lemon and cold milk. When you use both sandalwood powder and fuller’s earth, take 2 spoons of sandalwood powder and 1 spoon fuller’s earth with lemon juice from half lemon and 4-5 spoon milk to make paste. But when you have only one out of sandalwood powder and fuller’s earth then just take 2-3 spoons of one of them. Then mix it with same ration of lemon and milk as before. Apply the paste in your neck and keep it for 15 minutes and wash it. Use something lubricant to prevent dryness. And see the result.

Note: Repeat this process twice a week to get rid of black neck and to remove suntan from your neck.
